Whole School Update Week 8

Whole school reminders/updates:

Master Planning Input – Meeting invite
  • Parents are invited to a think tank session on Wednesday 20 June at 9am – 9.30am in the staffroom
  • This is with our school architect Peter Goern who will help us develop some designs and plans with a view to a building program in the next year or so. 

Muffins for Recess on Thursday 21 June  
  • All orders due in tomorrow Tuesday 19 June – click here for a form

Mini instrumental Music concerts at 11.10am in Taikondi
  • Parents are invited to come and watch performances by our students who are being tutored at Immanuel
Tues 19 June:             Students with Tutor Dallas Davenport (singing, piano & guitar)
Weds 20 June:           Students with Tutor Kira Jackson (violin)
Thurs 21 June:            Students with Tutor Karen Clarke (piano & flute)
Fri 22 June:                 Students with Tutor Cameron O’Riley (guitar) & Zed Crawford (Drums)

Cabaret
·         It was a fantastic night!  Thank you to everyone who was involved with this event.  We had so many brilliant students showing off their musical talents and dance routines.
·         Many thanks to all the students who entered the Art Competition. The winners from each year level are:

P&F’s - Giant Raffle
  • Thanks to everyone who supported this raffle.  Money raised will go to the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program.

P&F Meeting - Thursday 21 June 7pm in the staffroom 
  • Planning some events for Term 3 – anyone is welcome to come along and join this group.  

Worship & Praise this Friday 22 June at 9am with Mrs Joanne Chamberlain

End of Term 2
  • Friday 29 June is the last day of this term
  • There are 3 weeks of holidays
  • Term 3 starts Monday 23 July
  • Camp Australia will run the OHSC Holiday Club program over the 3 weeks.  Please book your child into this program via www.campaustralia.com.au.  The theme is E-Magination – please Click here to view the day to day holiday program. 

Mr Trigg is on long service leave as of this Thursday – happy and safe travels.   
Mr Helbig will be taking the reins in his absence.
