Senior Unit Update Week 5 Term 4

Welcome to Week 5 and this is probably how many are feeling as we close on our exhibition night. With that being said it is action stations in the Senior Unit as we put the finishing touches to our Exhibition pieces and check to see if the t's are crossed and the i's dotted.

Special Friends Day

This Friday is Special Friends day and we look forward to people coming into the school and having a look at the exhibition and spending time seeing what we do. We just want to remind people that we have Bike Ed on Friday as well and that will involve some groups riding for 1 and a half hours. 

Our Bike Ed schedule looks like this for Friday

9.00 - 10.30 - Mr Jones' group

10.30 - Recess

11.00 - 12.30 - Mrs Eckermann's group

12.30 - Lunch

1.15- 2.45 - Mr Semmler's Group

End of Term 4

• Wednesday 12 December - last day of school for 2018. 

At 2.00pm the formal End of Year and Graduation Service will be held in Taikondi at Immanuel School.  As part of our school’s end of year Worship and Praise / Christmas service, the year 6 & 7 students will be acknowledged and farewelled in front of the whole school.  Parents, family and friends are welcome to attend.   

• On Thursday 13 December we will hold the Year 6 & 7 Celebration Night.  This special function is for all year 6 & 7 students, their parents / caregivers and our staff.  (Invitations will be sent home soon.)

Senior Unit Movie Night
We have been trying to organise a Senior Unit Movie night as a last chance to catch up and share together. While the details are sketchy due to calendar restrictions we will have more details by the end of the week. This is an initiative of Senior Unit Students.

Final Thought
The Swiss must've been pretty confident in their chances of victory if they included a corkscrew on their army knife.
