Whole School Updates Week 10

Whole school reminders/updates:

 

We trust that you had a happy and safe Easter break.  Only 2 weeks until school holidays start. 

 

Parent / Teacher Interviews

·         If you haven't yet booked a time to meet your child's teacher there are still some time slots left on Thursday 5 April 3.45-6.30pm.  Please ring the office or logon to  www.schoolinterviews.com.au (on Weds) and click on “Make a Booking”, then enter the code 88bmj and press "Go".   

 

Thursday 5 April

·         All students please wear sport uniform as they will be participating in the obstacle course (a Pre Sports Day event).

 

Friday 6 April is

·         Casual Clothes day - students can wear casual clothes and bring a gold coin donation for Gawler's Relay for Life event held Saturday 7 April at Apex Park, supporting the Cancer Council. 

·         Year 1's are going to the ZOO - these students will need to wear their sports uniform.

 

Year 5 Camp

·         Next week Mon, Tues, Weds

·         Therefore no SAKG sessions.  A huge thanks to the many volunteers that have assisted SAKG during the term.

 

Sports Day Friday 13 April 9-1pm

·         Parents welcome to join us for the morning

·         There will be a coffee van, muffins for sale, subway lunches (parents / students please pre-order by Weds 11/4)

9:30am          Championship Sprints

10:20am        Individual Events

11:40am        Team Games

12:40pm        Wrap up & winning team announced

12:50pm        Students back to class for lunch

Afternoon      Modified program (students can go home early if signed out by a parent / caregiver)

 

Flu Vaccination

Zion Preschool is having a flu vac clinic (Early childhood influenza vaccination program) 
on Wednesday 9 May 2018 9am to 12 noon for parents, students, family members.
