Whole School Update Week 7 Term 2 2018

Whole school reminders/updates:

Cabaret
  • This Friday 15 June 7pm to 9.30pm
  • Tickets still for sale up till Thursday - Adults $10, Children $2

·         Music, Performances, Food and Drinks, Desserts.  A social outing for families and friends
·         We have a licenced bar facility and will be selling red & white wine, bubbles, cider, beer, port & cans soft drinks

Art Competition
  • Students can still bring in an Art piece  tomorrow morning (Weds 13/6)
  • These will be displayed Friday and judged at Cabaret evening

P&F’s - Giant Raffle $20 a ticket  
  • The draw date is this Friday at Cabaret Night (15/6/18) 
  • 1st prize Kitchen Aid Cook Pro worth $2,099;  2nd prize Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer; 3rd prize $300 worth of Chefs Toolbox products;  4th prize 30 minute Joy Flight (over the Barossa).
  • Tickets for sale in the office or at the Cabaret Night. 
  • Please ring the school office if you want to purchase a ticket but can’t get into the school office this week to do so. 
  • Gotta be in it to Win It!

ICAS Tests Spelling on Wednesday 13 June and Writing on Thursday 14 June
Worship & Praise this Friday 15 June at 9am with Miss Hueppauff and the year 4 class
Assembly Monday 18 June at 2.45pm with the two Year 2 classes

Master Planning Input
  • Parents are invited to a think tank session on Wednesday 20 June at 9am in the staffroom. 
  • This is with our school architect Peter Goern who will help us develop some designs and plans with a view to a building program in the next year or so. 

Muffins for Recess next Thursday 21 June  
  • Order forms will go home Weds

Friday Electives
  • There is one more round of electives this term.   If you are a parent who would like to help with a group please let us know.  

Sausage Sizzle at Bunnings
Thanks to those who helped at the BBQ yesterday. 
We have another one booked for Saturday 11 August so will be looking for some parents to help again.  

Social Media
At Immanuel the following graphic illustrates the core messages we work hard to instil in our students. It’s our hope that our entire community will reinforce these messages by our words and actions.
